Central High will meet the Bulldogs again tonight (Thursday, August 27) in a different venue when the Bronchos travel to Cement. The road scrimmage begins at 6:30 p.m. for the Bronchos.
That will give new head coach Glennis Ring a better evaluation of where his team stands a week prior to opening kickoff

The Outlaws took part in a four-team scrimmage last Friday at Velma-Alma. Marlow took the field with the home team and Davis. Marlow did not scrimmage with fellow 3A-2 team Pauls Valley.

The Lady Bronchos were back on the diamond late last week with a pair of games against Walters and Waurika.
Central High traveled to Walters on Thursday, August 20, but came home with a game that got away.
An offensive explosion against Waurika on Friday, August 21, at Lady Broncho Field redeemed the Lady Bronchos.
Eight hits led to nine runs in a 9-1 run-rule of the Lady Eagles.

Good crowds and good teams were on hand for the two-day festival held at Southwest Park.
Best of all for Marlow, the Lady Outlaws picked up three wins heading into a three-way with Lindsay and Bray-Doyle on Tuesday night.

The Lady Outlaw softball season opened with a surprise home game, after heavy rains in the Ardmore area caused Plainview to play in Marlow Tuesday, August 18.
Marlow took advantage of the home game early by taking a 5-1 lead, but the lead evaporated, as early season mistakes sent the Lady Outlaws to a 7-5 loss.
