Football-Marlow vs Northeast

Rain and lightning stopped the Outlaws and Northeast from playing last Thursday, moving the game from Moses F. Miller Stadium to Taft Stadium on Friday.
Four first half turnovers hampered the Outlaws to a 7-0 deficit at halftime, but a return to the run game in the second half vaulted Marlow to a 32-7 victory.

Once the bats got going, advancing to the regional tournament was no problem for the Lady Outlaw softball team.
In the best-of-three format, Marlow won the district by defeating Riverside Indian School, 11-0 and 10-0, at Southwest Park on Thursday evening.

On Thursday, the Bray-Doyle girls dodged slow pitches and raindrops to win its first game in the Class A district tournament at Rush Springs.
By nightfall, the Lady Donkeys had taken out the home team to take first position in the final.
But by the light of Friday, things changed and Rush Springs returned to down the Lady Donkeys in two straight games, thus ending Bray-Doyle’s fast-pitch season.
The Lady Donkeys finished at 18-16.
